MADD San Diego is proud to announce our 5th annual 5k fundraising & awareness event, WALK like MADD.  WALK like MADD is a 5K, non-competitive walk to allow corporations and individuals to team up with MADD in “keeping our communities safe.”

We invite you to join the team to save more lives and prevent future injuries on the streets of the San Diego Metropolitan Area.  We need your help, now, more than ever. Drunk driving fatalities and injuries have increased for the last three years in San DiegoCounty with 115 people killed and over 3,000 injured in 2006. Your organization has the opportunity to be a visible leader in our campaign to make our roadways safer for your customers, employees and families.

What:              5k (3.1 miles) non-competitive walk

9:00 a.m. Opening Ceremonies

                        9:30 a.m. Walk Begins

This is a great way to support MADD’s programs and services by securing walk pledges from family members, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and businesses. Walkers and their pledge supporters are the key ingredients in securing funds to benefit MADD’s lifesaving mission- to stop drunk driving,

support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking. 

With the help of our corporate partners and community leaders we can make our communities safer for our children, families and employees.
